We are recruiting: fabricator-welder (Imo State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Nkwerre, Imo State. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
