Great opportunity: we are hiring a dozer operator in Whiteside County, Illinois. The job is on a dam or embankment job. On a typical shift you will grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; refuel the machine and record running hours. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
