Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Pierce County, Washington. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls The role involves read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets.
