Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Walla Walla County, Washington. The role involves break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers 2+ years on the tools preferred.
