We are recruiting: we are hiring a baker in Barton County, Kansas. You will work at a cake shop. The role involves: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
