Press setter operator wanted in Kent County

Join our team: we are hiring a press setter operator in Kent County, Rhode Island. You will be based on the press shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Six days a week, one day off.
