We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in Custer County, Idaho. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Your main tasks: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Full-time with occasional weekends.
