Hoist operator wanted in Kankakee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Kankakee County, Illinois. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
