Urgent requirement: we are hiring a waiter in Fairfax County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Check back during the meal and handle special requests Ideal candidate: • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
