Retail butcher — Nolan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Nolan County, Texas. On a typical shift you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 2+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
