Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Clatsop County, Oregon. You will work in a meat processing plant. The role involves keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Six days a week, one day off.
