The role involves: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear You should have: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience.
