Immediate opening: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Baure, Katsina State. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage You will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
