Foundry labourer — Udu

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Udu, Delta State. You will be based on the moulding line. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
