Now hiring: gas pipe fitter (Kano State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Kiru, Kano State. You will be based in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends.
