Great opportunity: we are hiring a cake decorator in Gateshead, England. You will work in a bread factory. Day to day you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; score the top of loaves before baking; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
