Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Mau, Uttar Pradesh. The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Ideally you have a keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases; aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep; able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine.
