Join our team: we are hiring a baker in Barber County, Kansas. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Day to day you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; score the top of loaves before baking; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
