Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial painter in Lee County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits.
