Great opportunity: we are hiring a head butcher in Larmurde, Adamawa State. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Your main tasks: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
