Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in Conwy, Wales. On the job you will handle: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time, day shift.
