Urgent requirement: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Accomack County, Virginia. The job is at a new-build housing development. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish You will check walls for plumb and level as you go; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
