Requirements: • Valid digital tachograph card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules On the job you will handle: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock Rotating shifts.
