Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Day to day you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
