Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Lucas County, Ohio. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
