Immediate opening: press machine operator (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a press machine operator in Slough, England. Day to day you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred £2,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
