Join our team: we are hiring a furniture maker in Wheeler County, Oregon. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work You will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
