Trowel-trade bricklayer — Gubio

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Gubio, Borno State. You will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
