We are recruiting: we are hiring a gardener in Wallowa County, Oregon. On a typical shift you will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers. Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
