Great opportunity: estate gardener (Kano State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an estate gardener in Takai, Kano State. Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors The role involves: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
