Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. The role involves set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery 5+ years on the tools preferred.
