What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points.
