Urgent requirement: machine operator (earthworks) (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Oconee County, Georgia. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. On the job you will handle: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Ideal candidate: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Rotating shifts.
