Horticulturist wanted in Harrison County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Harrison County, Ohio. The job is in a botanical garden. Day to day you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Rotating shifts.
