Great opportunity: site carpenter (Nevada)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site carpenter in Lander County, Nevada. The role involves hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
