Join our team: we are hiring a garment presser in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. You will work in a tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
