Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Phillips County, Colorado. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. Day to day you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Six days a week, one day off.
