Milling machine operator wanted in Cameron County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Cameron County, Texas. The job is in a toolroom. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges The role involves: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
