Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Barpeta, Assam. You will work in a meat processing plant. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Your main tasks: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Part-time with flexible hours.
