The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 5+ years on the tools preferred.
