Immediate opening: we are hiring a prep cook in Custer County, Colorado. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. The role involves check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
