Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Erath County, Texas. You will work at a wholesale meat market. Your main tasks: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
