Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Sequatchie County, Tennessee. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers On the job you will handle: • Season and marinate meat on request • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
