Core maker • Yorro, Taraba State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a core maker in Yorro, Taraba State. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
