Ladle pourer • Jackson County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Jackson County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
