Counter butcher — Albasu

Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Albasu, Kano State. You will be based at a halal meat counter. Your main tasks: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Part-time with flexible hours.
