Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Gray County, Texas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
