Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Nance County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers 4+ years on the tools preferred.
