You should have: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Day-to-day duties: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds Rotating shifts.
