Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Obi, Benue State. The job is at a road and highway construction project. You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Day-to-day duties: • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter We offer ₦90,000 per month plus benefits.
